I loved the 2012 Hermitage Blanc and readers looking for ripe, textured and full-bodied Hermitage Blancs need look no further. Giving up loads of butter citrus, pineapple, quince and hints of mint, it’s full-bodied, viscous and fleshy, without ever seeming heavy or cumbersome. It doesn’t show any oak and is all about the fruit. Drink it over the coming decade.
