The 2018 Cote de Nuits Villages is showing well, delivering an attractive bouquet of peonies, orange rind and lively berry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent, it’s elegantly fleshy and exuberant, with delicate tannins and a nicely defined finish. From an underrated appellation, this cuvee is consistently one of my favorites in Eyre’s range.
