Robert Parker 93
The 2019 Morgon Cote du Py reveals aromas of blackberries, cherries, smoked meats and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it’s charming and enveloping, with a generous core of succulent fruit that’s framed by powdery tannins. Less tightly wound than the Javernieres, this will drink well out of the gate but also offer considerable longevity.
