The 2021 Fonplegade offers up aromas of rich berry and cherry fruit framed by minty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and lively, it’s generous and concentrated, albeit a touch marked by its 50% new oak at this early stage.
Jean-Marc Quarin 90
Couleur sombre et pourpre. Nez tres aromatique, fruite, pur et subtil. Delicieux des l’entree en bouche, avec une nuance de fruits noirs, le vin caresse le palais, savoureux, fin et agreable. Tannicite finale enveloppee. Le gout en depart de bouche et jusqu’au milieu est superbe. Longueur normale. Assemblage : 90 % merlot, 10 % cabernet franc. Vendanges du 30 septembre au 14 octobre.
